Romance Compatibility
In this day and age, being divorced means eventually you may end up going online to seek a date. There is nothing wrong with that; in fact, two of my best friends met online and have been together now for four years. Going online can help you figure out your romance compatibility, which is something this divorced mother needed to figure out about herself.
I remember the first time I went out with a girlfriend following my divorce. She was singing karaoke and a guy came over, sat down by me and asked me if I wanted a drink. Then he asked me if I would like to go to dinner some time. That would have been perfectly wonderful except I was 36 and he was 23! To me? There was no room for romance compatibility there.
I want to meet a guy my own age. I am now in my mid-forties but each year I remain attracted to men my own age. I am not meeting any, though. I am meeting younger guys and I am not even trying! When I look into the faces of my two best friends who love each other so much, I know it can and will happen for me, too.
